backdrop info on the new albums.

ok, so we have a loooooong EP (30 minutes or so) called “idiot brain/genius heart”. this one has words, the full length does not. these are old b-sides that did not get used from “cheer up~its raining”. these tunes had been around for quite a while and i just wanted to record them and throw them all together in one session...so i did.

then we went and got ambitious. justin gonzales, jake more and myself wrote and recorded 7 songs in our little rehearsal space in brooklyn. done mostly live, mostly without any vocals. recorded in a month. i then produced, mixed and did overdubs which took about a month. BAM! 2nd album done. shit yeah.
